# Managing What You Have Launched

Where to pause, rename, rebudget and edit live campaigns, ad sets and ads, and where unlaunched work waits.

Adsap has no separate campaign management screen. Managing live work happens on the [performance dashboard](/guides/insights/performance-dashboard), next to the numbers that tell you whether it needs managing.

That is deliberate. A management screen without performance data on it invites changes made for no reason.

## Where things live

| What you want to do | Where |
|---|---|
| Pause, activate, rename, rebudget, change bidding | **Performance, then Dashboard**, using **Edit name and status** on any row |
| Edit an ad's copy, media, or destination | Same place, using **Edit ad** on an ad row |
| See how an ad actually renders | Same place, using **Live preview** |
| Finish ads you started but never launched | **Ad Launcher, then Ad Sheets** |
| Let rules pause things for you | **[Automation](/guides/automation)** |

## Editing a campaign or ad set

**Edit name and status** on a dashboard row handles the name and the status (**No change**, **Activate**, **Pause**). It also handles the budget (daily or lifetime), the bidding strategy, the max CPC bid on Google, asset automation, and an end time.

Adsap previews every change before it applies, so you see exactly what is about to happen.

## Editing an ad

**Edit ad** opens four tabs. **Settings** covers name and status. **Text** covers primary text, headline and description. **Media** replaces the image or video. **Destination** covers the call to action, URL, display link and URL parameters.

Editing an ad's creative rebuilds it on Meta, which sends it back through review. Expect a short gap in delivery while that happens, and check the preview afterwards.

## Unlaunched work

No separate drafts area exists. Unlaunched rows in an [ad sheet](/guides/ad-sheets) stay at the **Draft** stage, in the sheet, saved as you go, until you launch them or delete them.

Find your sheets at **Ad Launcher, then Ad Sheets**. Open one and pick up where you left off; nothing expires.

Once launched, a row moves to **Launched** and keeps the identifier of the ad it created, so the sheet doubles as the record of what you shipped.

## Partial launches

Launching sends ads one at a time and reports each on its own, so a run can finish with some ads live and some failed. The dialog reports that as **Launch Completed with Errors**, with a **Failed Ads** list carrying Meta's reason for each.

Failed rows stay at Draft. Fix what Meta objected to and launch again; Adsap skips the successful rows rather than duplicating them. See [Review and Launch](/guides/launch/review-publish).

## Bulk changes

For pausing or activating many things at once, the [AI Copilot](/guides/ai-copilot) is quicker than the dashboard. Ask it to list your campaigns or ad sets, tick the rows in the card it renders, and pause or change budgets inside the card.

On Google Ads, keyword, negative, targeting and audience changes across many campaigns belong in [Bulk Manage](/guides/google-ads/bulk-manage).

## What Adsap will not do on its own

Nothing changes state unless you or a rule you wrote did it. Adsap does not pause things it considers underperforming, and the [recommendations](/guides/recommendations) only ever suggest, with a button you press.

The one exception is an [automation rule](/guides/automation/rules) you set to turn things off, and even then it reports every action, including the ones a guardrail stopped.
