# YouTube Video Upload

Upload videos as unlisted YouTube videos for Google Ads campaigns, or link existing YouTube videos as assets.

Google video ads run on YouTube, so video assets are YouTube videos. Adsap gives you two ways to get one.

## Upload a file

Upload a video file (max **256 MB**) from the dashboard, Google Drive, or Dropbox. It becomes an **unlisted YouTube video** on the ad account's Google-managed channel, then a video asset you can use in campaigns.

YouTube processing takes a few minutes and continues on Google's side even if you close the page. An in-progress upload is never lost: Adsap offers to resume and attach it once ready. You set the video title at upload time and cannot change it afterwards, so name it with care.

## Link an existing video

If the video already lives on your YouTube channel or your client's, or is any public YouTube video, link it by ID or URL instead. It becomes a video asset at once, with no re-upload.
