Task (Adsap plan unit)

Updated

Definition

A task is one action Adsap performs on Meta or Google Ads for you, and the unit the Free plan counts against its 10 a month.

How it works

One action equals one task, whatever the action contains. The docs' pricing page lists what counts:

  • Each ad launched. A 10-row launch from an Ad Sheet is 10 tasks.
  • Each campaign or ad set created.
  • Each pause, activate, budget or name edit.
  • Each Google Search campaign wizard run, each ad group created and each keyword change call.

The same page lists what never counts: reads, insights, previews, targeting searches and keyword ideas, creative uploads, Ad Sheet drafts and previews. Reading the dashboard or asking the copilot for a breakdown costs nothing.

Tasks reset on the first of each month, UTC, with no rollover. Once a Free workspace has used its 10, launches and edits wait until the next month or an upgrade, while reading and analysis keep working. Early Access has no task limit.

Worked example

A Free workspace in one month. You launch 6 ads from a sheet: 6 tasks. You create 1 campaign and 1 ad set for them: 2 tasks. You pause 2 ad sets that are not working: 2 tasks. Total: 10, the month's allowance.

In the same month you read the dashboard every morning, preview every row before launching, upload 30 creatives from Google Drive and search interests for the next audience. Total: 0 tasks.

Why it matters to a media buyer

The task is how the Free plan stays free without a card. Pricing by action rather than by seat or by spend lets a solo buyer test the product on a live account at no cost. It also makes the count predictable: you know before you click Review Ads that 8 rows are 8 tasks. When the work outgrows 10 actions a month, Early Access at $29/month plus tax removes the limit, along with the one-account-per-platform limit and the format restrictions.

In Adsap

The pricing page compares the two plans, and the docs' pricing reference carries the full list of what counts. The Free plan includes 1 Meta ad account and 1 Google Ads account and 10 tasks a month. It covers single image or video ads on Meta, Google Search campaigns and the basic copilot toolset. Early Access at $29/month plus tax comes with a 7-day free trial. It includes unlimited accounts, team members and tasks, every format and campaign type, and the full copilot with about 90 tools. A lapsed subscription moves the workspace to Free and deletes nothing.

Frequently asked questions

No. Previews, reads, insights, targeting searches, keyword ideas, creative uploads and Ad Sheet drafts never count. Only an action that changes something on Meta or Google Ads counts.

Launches and edits pause until the first of the next month, UTC, or until you upgrade. Reading the dashboard, pulling insights and preparing sheets keep working.

No. The count resets to 10 on the first of each month, UTC, and unused tasks from the previous month do not carry forward.

Your next launch takes about 10 minutes

Launch Meta and Google Ads in bulk from a spreadsheet-style web app, or run the same tools from Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity. Every change shows a preview first, and everything is created paused.
