ChatGPT for Meta Ads and Google Ads
Adsap connects ChatGPT to Meta Ads and Google Ads through MCP. Turn on Developer mode at chatgpt.com, add Adsap as an app with the address mcp.adsap.ai, and sign in. ChatGPT can then read accounts, build campaigns, change budgets and pull reports on both platforms. Any paid plan works, Plus included, on the web.
What ChatGPT does with Adsap
ChatGPT reaches the same about 90 Adsap tools as Claude. The difference is in the wrapper. ChatGPT custom connectors exist on the web only, so setup happens in a browser at chatgpt.com, never in the desktop or mobile app. Developer mode has to be on, and OpenAI has moved that switch more than once. On a Business workspace only an admin or owner can turn it on. On Enterprise and Edu an admin grants access first.
Once connected, you enable the Adsap app in a conversation and ask in plain words. Before ChatGPT performs any action that changes a campaign, it shows a summary and waits for your approval. Adsap adds its own guardrails underneath: everything is created paused, and a preview runs before every write. Cards do not render in ChatGPT, so tools reply with text, plus a link where one makes sense.
Plus is enough for the full connector, including writes. The Adsap skill is the one thing Plus lacks: skills upload on Business, Enterprise and Edu only. The connector works without it.
- List Meta and Google accounts, campaigns, ad sets and ad groups, and keep the two platforms' IDs apart
- Create Meta campaigns and single image or video ads on Free, and every Meta format on Early Access
- Create Google Search campaigns, add keywords and negatives, and pull keyword ideas
- Pause, enable and edit budgets after ChatGPT's confirmation prompt and Adsap's preview
- Read performance by campaign, ad set, ad or keyword, updated daily
- Ask what needs attention and get Adsap's verified alerts and findings (Early Access)

The Adsap skill on ChatGPT
A skill is a small instruction pack in the Agent Skills format. It teaches ChatGPT which tool fits each job and the safety rules, and carries the shortest path through common tasks on Meta and Google Ads. Plans with skills on ChatGPT: Business, Enterprise and Edu. Install: At chatgpt.com, open Plugins, then Skills, then Create, then Upload from your computer, and pick the standard file. ChatGPT scans uploaded skills before it enables them.
Download the standard file from app.adsap.ai/ai-copilot. Skills do not update themselves; upload the newest file when Adsap ships a change. The connector works without the skill.
Frequently asked questions
No. ChatGPT custom connectors are web only. Open chatgpt.com in a desktop browser, turn on Developer mode under Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and create the app there. A setup error such as no_biscuit_no_service means you are in the desktop app.
Yes. Plus is enough for the connector, including actions that change your campaigns. Pro, Business, Enterprise and Edu work too. The Adsap skill is the exception: ChatGPT accepts uploaded skills on Business, Enterprise and Edu, not yet on Plus. The connector runs without the skill.
No. The cards use MCP Apps, which Claude supports today. In ChatGPT the same tools reply with text. An ad preview arrives as a link and a campaign list as a table. The launch review is a written summary that you confirm in the chat. Every tool still works.
Meta and Google Ads from ChatGPT, created paused
