Perplexity for Meta Ads and Google Ads

Adsap connects Perplexity to Meta Ads and Google Ads through MCP. On Pro, Max or Enterprise, add a Remote custom connector with the address mcp.adsap.ai, choose OAuth and Streamable HTTP, and sign in. Perplexity then reads both ad platforms, creates campaigns, edits budgets and reports on performance, in the same chat where you research.

What Perplexity does with Adsap

Perplexity treats a custom connector as one unit. There is no per-tool switch, no description and no icon in its settings panel, so the Adsap entry looks empty after you save it. That is normal. The connector still works, and all of the about 90 tools are on, together. Ask Perplexity to list what Adsap can do and it reads the tool list for you.

Perplexity has no prefilled link, so you fill the form by hand: name Adsap, the server address, OAuth, and Streamable HTTP rather than SSE. After you save, sign in on Adsap's authorization page and click Authorize. A health check takes one message: ask whether Adsap is connected and Perplexity calls adsap_ping.

Cards do not render in Perplexity. Tools reply with text and a link where one fits, and nothing is missing. The Adsap skill installs inside Perplexity Computer from a Perplexity-specific file whose SKILL.md sits at the zip root.

  • Research a market in Perplexity, then create the Meta campaign or Google Search campaign in the same thread
  • List accounts, campaigns and ad sets on Meta, and campaigns, ad groups and keywords on Google
  • Pause, enable and change budgets on both platforms, each change previewed first
  • Search Meta targeting options and Google keyword ideas before you build
  • Upload creatives to a Meta ad account and check on the encoding
  • Read yesterday's spend, results and ROAS, and Google search terms on Early Access

Perplexity plan

Perplexity needs Pro, Max or Enterprise. Add Adsap as a Remote custom connector from Account settings, then Connectors.

Where to add it

Account settings, then Connectors. Custom connector, server address https://mcp.adsap.ai/mcp, OAuth.

Interactive cards

Perplexity does not render Adsap's cards today. The same tools reply with text, plus a link where one makes sense.

The Adsap skill on Perplexity

A skill is a small instruction pack in the Agent Skills format. It teaches Perplexity which tool fits each job and the safety rules, and carries the shortest path through common tasks on Meta and Google Ads. Plans with skills on Perplexity: Pro, Max and Enterprise, inside Perplexity Computer. Install: In Perplexity Computer, open Skills, then Create skill, then Upload a skill, and pick the Perplexity file. Perplexity expects a different zip layout; the skill inside is the same.

Download the Perplexity file from app.adsap.ai/ai-copilot. Skills do not update themselves; upload the newest file when Adsap ships a change. The connector works without the skill.

Frequently asked questions

Pro, Max and Enterprise. Open the connectors page under Account settings, click Custom connector and choose Remote. Enter the name Adsap, the server address https://mcp.adsap.ai/mcp, OAuth as the authentication and Streamable HTTP as the transport. Save, then sign in to Adsap and authorize.

No. Perplexity cannot yet disable individual tools on a custom connector, so Adsap is all-or-nothing. Every tool stays available together. Adsap's own guardrails still apply: everything is created paused, each write is previewed first, and the Free plan limits which tools answer.

Perplexity shows descriptions, icons and per-tool switches only for connectors in its partner catalog. A custom connector gets the same panel with nothing in it. The connection works. Ask Perplexity to ping Adsap or to list your ad accounts and it answers from the server.

Meta and Google Ads from Perplexity, created paused

Start on the Free plan with no card, or take Early Access at $29/month plus tax for every tool. The connector is included on both plans.
