Connect Meta Ads to Perplexity
Adsap connects Perplexity to Meta Ads through MCP. On Pro, Max or Enterprise, add a Remote custom connector with the address mcp.adsap.ai, choose OAuth and Streamable HTTP, and sign in. Perplexity can then list ad accounts, create campaigns and ads, pause and edit them, and pull Facebook and Instagram performance. Everything is created paused.
Perplexity is where research and execution meet. You can study a competitor's ads, compare interest audiences and draft copy, then build the Meta campaign in the same thread without switching tools. Adsap's Ad Library search and interest, behavior and location search are the research tools; campaign, ad set and ad creation are the execution tools. Each write is previewed first.
Perplexity treats the connector as one unit. Its settings panel shows no descriptions, icons or per-tool switches for custom connectors, so the Adsap entry looks empty after you save it. That is normal, and the connection works. Cards do not render in Perplexity; every tool answers with text, plus a link where one fits, and nothing is missing.

Set up in 4 steps

Connect Meta in Adsap: app.adsap.ai, Settings, Connect Meta, approve every permission, pick your ad accounts.

Open Perplexity's connectors page under Account settings, then Connectors. Click Custom connector and choose Remote.

Fill the form by hand: name Adsap, MCP Server URL https://mcp.adsap.ai/mcp, authentication OAuth, transport Streamable HTTP, not SSE. Save.

Sign in on Adsap's authorization page and click Authorize. Then ask Perplexity to ping Adsap and list your Meta ad accounts.

Limits on Perplexity
Pro, Max or Enterprise
Perplexity supports custom connectors on Pro, Max and Enterprise. There is no prefilled link, so you type the server address into the Remote connector form yourself.
Tools are all-or-nothing
Perplexity cannot yet disable individual tools on a custom connector. All about 90 Adsap tools are on together. Adsap's plan rules still decide which ones answer, and every write is previewed and created paused.
No cards
The ad preview, launch review, manage campaigns and upload progress cards need MCP Apps, which Claude supports today. In Perplexity you confirm launches in the thread and open previews from a link.
The skill installs in Perplexity Computer
Download the Perplexity file from app.adsap.ai/ai-copilot. Its SKILL.md sits at the zip root, because Perplexity rejects the folder layout the standard file uses. Upload it under Computer, then Skills.
Frequently asked questions
Pro, Max and Enterprise. Open Account settings, then Connectors, click Custom connector, choose Remote, and enter the name Adsap with the server address https://mcp.adsap.ai/mcp, OAuth and Streamable HTTP. After you save, sign in to Adsap and click Authorize. The Meta account is connected in Adsap, not in Perplexity.
Perplexity shows descriptions, icons and per-tool switches only for connectors in its partner catalog. A custom connector gets the same panel with nothing in it. The connection still works. Ask Perplexity to ping Adsap or to list what Adsap can do, and it reads the tool list from the server.
No. Perplexity cannot yet disable individual tools, so the connector is all-or-nothing. The safety rules do not depend on that switch. Every campaign, ad set and ad is created paused and every write is previewed. Perplexity only activates something when you ask for it by name.
No. The cards use MCP Apps, which Claude supports today. In Perplexity, adsap_get_ad_preview replies with text and a link to Meta's render of the ad. The same applies to the launch review: Perplexity writes out the campaign, ad sets and ads it will create and you confirm in the thread.
Download the Perplexity file from app.adsap.ai/ai-copilot; it differs from the standard file only in zip layout. In Perplexity Computer, open Skills, then Create skill, then Upload a skill, and pick that file. Skills do not update themselves, so upload the newest file when Adsap ships a change.
