Connect Meta Ads to Claude
Adsap connects Claude to Meta Ads through MCP. Add one custom connector at mcp.adsap.ai and sign in with your Adsap account. Claude can then create campaigns, ad sets and ads, pause and edit them, upload creatives and read performance on Facebook and Instagram. Everything it creates starts paused, and a preview runs before every write.
Claude is where Adsap's copilot does the most. Every Meta tool is reachable from a conversation, and eleven of them reply with a card instead of a paragraph. Ask for last week's numbers and you get a performance snapshot with a trend chart. Ask to build a campaign and a launch review card lists the campaign, the ad sets and the ads before Claude creates any of it.
The connection uses OAuth 2.1. Claude never sees your Meta access token; requests go through Adsap's server, which holds the token and passes each call through the guardrails. You can revoke the connection from Claude's connector settings at any time. Claude works on every plan, including Free, in the web, desktop and mobile apps.

Set up in 5 steps

Connect Meta in Adsap. Log in at app.adsap.ai, open Settings, click Connect Meta, approve every permission in Facebook Login for Business, and pick the ad accounts to use.

Add the connector in Claude. Open the Add Adsap to Claude link, which prefills the name and the address https://mcp.adsap.ai/mcp. Check them and confirm. Or add a custom connector by hand under Customize, then Connectors.

Sign in on Adsap's authorization page and click Authorize. Claude reopens with the connector marked Connected.

Check the connection. Ask Claude to ping Adsap, then to list your Meta ad accounts. If the accounts come back, you are set.

Limits on Claude
Cards need Claude's MCP Apps support
The ad preview, manage campaigns, launch review and other cards render in Claude's apps and on the web. The tools behind them keep working if Adsap switches cards off centrally; you get text instead.
The skill needs code execution on
Skills upload under Customize, then Skills. Turn on code execution under Settings, then Capabilities, first. Remove any old adsap-meta-ads skill before you upload the current adsap-ads one.
Pacing per conversation
Claude gets a warning near 40 calls out to Meta in one conversation and a stop at 60, with a cooldown of about half an hour. Reads are limited to 200 per 5 minutes and writes to 50.
Your Adsap plan decides the toolset
On the Free Adsap plan Claude has 39 tools and the workspace's 10 tasks a month. A locked tool answers PLAN_RESTRICTED. On Early Access every Meta tool is on, with no task limit.

Yes. Claude supports custom connectors on every plan, including Free. Add Adsap with the prefilled Add to Claude link or by hand with the address https://mcp.adsap.ai/mcp, sign in to Adsap, and ask Claude to list your Meta ad accounts. The Adsap plan, not the Claude plan, decides which of the about 90 tools answer.
Yes, that is the default. Every campaign, ad set and ad Claude creates through Adsap starts paused. Before the build, Claude shows a launch review card that lists what it is about to create. You confirm inside the card, and activating is a separate step you ask for by name.
Single image or video, carousel, collection, catalog and flexible. On the Free Adsap plan Claude creates single image or video ads without a template. Carousel, collection, catalog and flexible ads, and ad templates, need Early Access. Claude tells you when a format is outside your plan and links to the upgrade.
Meta's official Ads AI connector is free and Meta-only. Adsap adds a preview before every write, everything created paused, an audit log, automation rules, Google Ads from the same connector, and a bulk web app on the same account. The comparison page lists the differences row by row.
No. The connection uses OAuth 2.1. Adsap never sees your Claude credentials, and Claude never sees your Meta token. Every request passes through the Adsap server at mcp.adsap.ai, which holds the token, checks that you own the ad account, and records the action in the audit log.
