AI Copilot Usage

Once you have connected Adsap to your AI assistant, you run your Meta and Google Ads by chat. The copilot has about 90 tools, grouped below by job. Everything works the same in Claude, ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Plans: on the Free plan the copilot has the basic toolset (39 tools) and the workspace’s 10 tasks a month. A locked tool answers PLAN_RESTRICTED; the 11th task of the month answers QUOTA_EXCEEDED. Both carry an upgrade link. Early Access includes every tool with no task limit. Upgrade under Settings, then Workspaces, then the Billing tab; details in Pricing.

Browsing Your Account

Ask in plain language. The copilot lists and searches every level of your account, from ad accounts down to ads.

What you can doExample prompt
List your ad accounts”Show me all my Meta ad accounts.”
Browse campaigns”List active campaigns in my ad account.”
View ad sets”What ad sets are running under the Summer Sale campaign?”
View creative assets”Show me all creatives uploaded this month.”
List Meta assets”What Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts are connected to my ad account?”
Check pixel events”What pixel events are firing on my pixel?”

Tip: The copilot answers reads from a cache. If you just changed something in Meta Ads Manager, ask the copilot to refresh and it pulls the latest from Meta.

Creating Campaigns, Ad Sets, and Ads

The copilot builds full campaign structures. Everything it creates starts PAUSED. Nothing goes live until you ask it to activate.

What you can doExample prompt
Create a campaign”Create a new sales campaign called ‘Spring Collection’ with a daily budget of 50 EUR.”
Create ad sets”Add two ad sets to the Spring Collection campaign. One targeting France, ages 25-45, and one targeting Germany, same age range.”
Create an ad”Create an ad in the France ad set using the product image I uploaded earlier, with headline ‘New Arrivals’ and primary text ‘Discover our Spring Collection. Free shipping over 50 EUR.’”
Use templates”Create an ad using my ‘Brand Standard’ template.”
Preview before creating”Preview this campaign setup so I can review it before you create anything.”

Safety Features

Every write carries three guardrails:

  • PAUSED by default. Campaigns, ad sets and ads always start PAUSED. The copilot sets them to ACTIVE only when you say “launch”, “go live” or “activate”.
  • Preview first. Ask for a preview and the copilot checks your setup and shows the exact payload it would send to Meta, without creating anything.
  • Duplicate protection. If the same request arrives twice (a network retry, for example), Adsap returns the original result instead of creating a duplicate.

Performance Insights

Pull performance data at any level, from the whole account down to one ad.

What you can doExample prompt
Get campaign performance”How did my campaigns perform last 7 days? Show spend, impressions, CTR, and ROAS.”
Compare ad sets”Compare the performance of all ad sets in my Summer Sale campaign over the last 30 days.”
Demographic breakdowns”Break down last month’s spend by age group and gender.”
Platform breakdowns”Which placements are driving the most conversions. Feed, Stories, or Reels?”
Country-level reporting”How does my spend split across countries this month?”

Note: Standard insights (spend, impressions, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions, ROAS) come from Adsap’s cache. Breakdown reports (by age, gender, platform, device, country) always query Meta directly, so use them sparingly to stay under rate limits.

Available Metrics

The copilot reports every dashboard metric. Volume and cost: spend, impressions, clicks, CTR, CPC, CPM, conversions and cost per conversion. Results: purchase ROAS, results and cost per result matched to the campaign objective, and custom conversions. Quality: quality, engagement and conversion rankings, reach and ad recall. Breakdowns: age, gender, country, region, publisher platform, platform position, device platform and impression device.

Targeting Research

Research targeting options in the copilot before you build ad sets.

What you can doExample prompt
Search interests”Find interest targeting options related to ‘organic skincare’.”
Search behaviors”What behavioral targeting options are available for online shoppers?”
Search locations”Search for cities in the Netherlands I can target.”

These searches call Meta’s Targeting Search API directly, so results match what Meta offers today.

Creative Management

Browse your Google Drive or Dropbox and upload creatives to your ad account without leaving the conversation.

What you can doExample prompt
Browse Drive files”Show me the image files in my ‘Spring Campaign Assets’ folder on Google Drive.”
Browse Dropbox files”List the videos in my Dropbox ‘Ads’ folder.”
Upload an image”Upload the file ‘hero-banner.jpg’ from my Drive to my ad account.”
Upload a video”Upload the video ‘product-demo.mp4’ from Drive and let me know when it is ready.”
Check upload status”What is the status of my video upload?”

Note: Images upload in one step. Videos upload in the background, because Meta has to encode them; the copilot can poll the status for you. Supported formats and size limits are in the Google Drive Upload guide.

Campaign Management

Check on your ads and control their status.

What you can doExample prompt
Check ad status”What is the delivery status of the ads in my Summer Sale campaign?”
Preview an ad”Show me a preview of the New Arrivals ad.” (renders an interactive preview card in supported assistants)
Pause entities”Pause all ad sets in the Spring Collection campaign.”
Update budgets and names”Raise the Spring Collection daily budget to 80 EUR.”
Review ad sheets”List my ad sheets.”
Explore the schema”Show me the ad sheet schema so I understand what columns are available.”
List templates”What ad templates do I have saved?”

The same chat workflow covers Google Ads. Google Ads customer IDs are separate from Meta account IDs, and the copilot keeps them apart.

What you can doExample prompt
List Google Ads accounts”Show me my Google Ads accounts.”
Browse campaigns”List my Google Ads campaigns with status and budget.”
Create a Search campaign”Create a Google Search campaign for my summer sale with keywords around ‘linen dresses’.”
Create other campaign types”Set up a Performance Max campaign with a 40 EUR daily budget.” (also Demand Gen, Shopping, App, and Display)
Research keywords”Suggest keyword ideas for a campaign about handmade ceramics.”
Review search terms”What search terms triggered my ads last week? Any negatives worth adding?”
Manage extensions”Add sitelinks for our shipping and returns pages.”
Upload video to YouTube”Upload product-demo.mp4 as a YouTube video for my Google Ads account.”
Get insights”How did my Google campaigns perform this month, down to the keyword level?”

Recommendations

Ask the copilot what needs your attention. It pulls Adsap’s verified findings (beta) across both platforms, with the evidence and the estimated money at stake for each one.

What you can doExample prompt
Get recommendations”What needs my attention in my ad accounts?”
Scope to one account”Any findings for my Meta account this week?”

Working with Ad Sheets and Templates

The copilot reads Adsap’s Ad Sheets and Templates.

What you can doExample prompt
List ad sheets”Show me all my ad sheets.”
Get the schema”What columns does an ad sheet row have? Explain the schema.”
List templates”List my ad templates.”

Tips for Effective Use

Name the account. If you have more than one ad account, say which one you mean: “In ad account act_123456789, show me last week’s performance.”

Preview big builds. When a campaign has more than one ad set or ad, ask for a preview and check the full structure before the copilot creates it.

Ask follow-ups. The copilot keeps context within a conversation. After pulling insights, say “Now break that down by age group” without repeating the account and date range.

Leave IDs to the copilot. You do not need campaign or ad set IDs. Describe what you want and the copilot looks up the right entities.
