Getting Started with Adsap

Setup takes a few minutes. This page covers connecting your Meta account, linking an ad account, and getting ready to create your first ads.

Running Google Ads? Connect Google Ads first, or instead, and add Meta later. Sign in with Google from the connect step or from Settings, pick your customer accounts, and follow the Google setup. Details in the Google Ads integration guide. The steps below cover Meta.

Setup Overview

Four steps:

  1. Connect your Meta account: Sign in with Facebook Login for Business and grant Adsap access to your Meta ad accounts.
  2. Connect an ad account: Pick the Meta ad account or accounts you want to run in Adsap.
  3. Let your campaigns load: Existing campaigns and their history sync on their own.
  4. Complete the setup checklist: Check your configuration and confirm everything is ready.

You can do them in any order. Top to bottom is easiest.

Step 1: Connect Your Meta Account

Adsap needs permission to read your Meta ad accounts and performance data, and to create ads. It uses Facebook Login for Business, so you sign in through Meta’s OAuth flow.

How to connect

  • Open Settings in the Adsap web dashboard at app.adsap.ai
  • Click Connect on the Meta card
  • Log in with your Facebook credentials
  • Grant the requested permissions (ad accounts, Pages, and Instagram accounts)
  • Confirm the connection

Adsap uses Meta permissions to:

  • Read campaign performance data
  • Create and publish ads
  • Read audience and pixel data
  • Sync campaign data into Adsap for reporting and the AI Copilot

Note: Adsap never shares your data with third parties. It uses the data only to run your campaigns and show you insights inside Adsap.

For the full walkthrough, see Connect Meta.

Step 2: Connect an Ad Account

Once you have connected your Meta profile, link one or more Meta ad accounts. Adsap syncs data from these accounts and publishes new ads to them.

How to connect an ad account

  • Open Settings
  • Find the account under Accounts Requiring Setup and click Start setup
  • Work through the setup wizard for that account

Adsap then starts syncing that account’s data. See Account Setup Wizard.

Ad account limits

On the Free plan, one Meta ad account and one Google Ads account. If your Meta login can see more than one, one stays active and Adsap parks the others. Pick the active one from the Integrations card in Settings and swap any time. On Early Access, unlimited ad accounts on both platforms. See Pricing.

If you do not see your ad account

  • Check that you have Admin or Advertiser access in Meta Business Manager
  • Click Reconnect to refresh your ad account list
  • Confirm Meta has not disabled the ad account
  • Ask the Business Manager owner to update your permissions if needed

For the full walkthrough, see Connect Ad Account.

Step 3: Let your existing campaigns load

Nothing to import. Once you connect an ad account, Adsap syncs its campaigns, ad sets, ads and performance history, and keeps them current in the background.

Give a large account a few minutes, then open Performance to check your campaigns are there.

Two things to know while you wait:

  • The dashboard never shows today. Every range ends at yesterday in the account’s own timezone, on purpose. See Insights.
  • Creatives are a separate step. The sync brings campaign structure and performance, not the images and videos. To pull those in, use Import from Meta in the Creative Library.

Step 4: Complete the Setup Checklist

The Setup Checklist on the dashboard tracks each onboarding step. Finish every step and setup is complete.

For the full walkthrough, see Setup Checklist.

FAQs

Can I connect more than one ad account?

On Early Access, yes: unlimited ad accounts on Meta and Google Ads. The Free plan connects one ad account per platform. Extra accounts stay parked until you swap the active one in Settings or upgrade. See Pricing.

Do I have to import my campaigns?

No. Campaigns, ad sets, ads and performance history sync on their own once you connect an ad account. Creatives are the one thing you pull in yourself, with Import from Meta.

Can I use the AI Copilot right away?

Yes, once you have added the Adsap MCP connector at mcp.adsap.ai to your assistant. The copilot works with whatever data your account holds.

How does billing work?

Two plans. Free is $0/month with no card required: one ad account per platform and 10 tasks a month. Early Access is $29/month with a 7-day free trial: unlimited accounts, unlimited tasks and every feature. Manage it under Settings, then Workspaces, then the Billing tab. Cancel anytime. See Pricing.
