Best Practices
Guidelines for launching, testing and scaling campaigns.
Budget Guidelines
- At least $5/day per ad set for Leads, $10/day for Sales.
- CBO with at least $100/day works well for 8-12 ad sets.
- Wait until the ad set leaves the learning phase (about 50 results within a week) before judging it.
Testing Strategy
- Start with 3-5 creative variants per campaign.
- Test one variable at a time (creative, headline, audience) so you know what moved the result.
- Use separate ad sets for clean A/B tests so each variable gets its own budget.
- Review performance breakdowns by age, gender, platform, and device to see what works.
Creative Best Practices
- Prepare videos in more than one aspect ratio: 4:5 or 1:1 (Feed), 9:16 (Stories/Reels), 16:9 (In-stream).
- Use 3-5 headline variants and 2-3 primary text variants per creative.
- Include a clear call-to-action that matches your objective.
- Refresh creatives every 2-4 weeks to avoid fatigue. Watch frequency and CTR trends on the Performance Dashboard.
Scaling Winners
- Find your top-performing ads on the Performance Dashboard and raise their budget gradually.
- When a creative performs well, duplicate it with slight variations to extend its life.
- Check performance weekly to spot trends and early signs of fatigue.
- Use the AI copilot in Claude, ChatGPT or Perplexity to pull insights and compare campaign performance.
Organization Tips
- Use clear naming conventions to keep campaigns organized in both Adsap and Meta Ads Manager.
- Save recurring settings as an Ad Template for quick reuse.
- Reuse a Meta saved audience you have tested before to speed up new campaign setup.
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Wrong objective: Do not use Traffic when you want conversions. Use Sales or Leads.
- Mismatched result metric: Do not set your result metric to something different from your actual goal.
- Editing during learning: Do not change campaigns during the learning phase (first ~50 conversions).
- Forgetting to activate: Adsap publishes every campaign paused by default. Activate them from the performance dashboard or the AI Copilot after publishing.
