Ping Adsap server (`adsap_ping`)

What it does

Checks that your AI assistant can reach the Adsap server and that its key is valid. It also reports whether your Google Ads connection is active and how many Google Ads accounts are linked in the workspace. Use it first when a connector looks broken.

When to use it

Use it as the first check when a tool call fails or the connector looks disconnected. It takes no parameters.
It shows which workspace the connection is bound to, the plan, and the tasks used this month.
google_ads reflects the Google Ads login of the person connected, not the workspace owner’s.
If the Google Ads check itself fails, the call still answers, with token_status set to unknown.
It lists no ad accounts. For those, use adsap_list_ad_accounts or adsap_google_list_ad_accounts.

How to read it

Any answer in this shape means the server is reachable and the login is valid. workspace_id is the workspace this connection works in. plan and tasks show the monthly allowance. cap and remaining are null when the plan has no monthly limit. paid_platforms is null when the plan covers every platform.

google_ads.connected is true only when token_status is active. A token_status of none means this person has no Google Ads connection yet, and the note says where to connect it. linked_accounts counts the Google Ads accounts linked in the workspace. The response also carries a rate_limit_policy text that tells the assistant how to behave when a call is rate limited.
