Email Notifications
Rolling out. These emails arrive alongside the Recommendations and Automation pages. If those are not switched on for your account yet, the options below are not visible either.
Adsap can send you three things. Each is off until you ask for it, and each has its own off switch.
The daily alert email
What it is: the alerts from your accounts, the checks that mean something broke. Spending stopped, tracking went silent, something switched on gets no delivery.
Switch it on in Settings, under email notifications.
Quiet days send nothing. This is on purpose: an email that arrives every morning saying everything is fine trains you to stop opening it, and then you miss the one that matters.
The weekly summary email
What it is: the recommendations for the week, with the short written account note.
Switch it on in Settings, under email notifications.
You get one email per ad account, delivered on that account’s own timezone rather than yours. An account set to Los Angeles and an account set to Paris each get theirs at the right local hour.
Quiet weeks send nothing. A week with no findings gets no email rather than an empty one.
The exception is a broken connection. If Adsap cannot read an account because it needs reconnecting, that email does go out. Silence from a broken connection looks exactly like a quiet week and is not one.
Rule notification emails
What it is: what your automation rules found and did.
No list to join for this one. Creating the rule is the opt-in, the recipient is whoever created the rule, and the off switch is on the rule itself.
You get at most one per day per workspace for each person whose rules acted, so a rule acting on ten ads does not send ten emails.
The email includes the things a rule matched and then left alone on purpose, with the reason. That is not noise: “left alone because it was still settling in” is the guardrail working, and leaving it out would make a working rule look like a broken one.
Stopping them
Every email carries an unsubscribe link, and it works without signing in.
- The link on a weekly summary stops that workspace’s summary emails.
- The link on a rule email switches off notifications for that rule.
- Your email client’s own unsubscribe button works too.
You can also switch the daily alert and weekly summary back off from Settings at any time.
Unsubscribing from one does not touch the others. Turning off the weekly summary leaves your alerts running.
What is not sent
Adsap does not send marketing email to advertising accounts through these settings, and it does not email you about someone else’s workspace. Every one of these covers only a workspace you are an active member of.
