Rolling out. If you do not see Recommendations in the menu yet, your account does not have it switched on.
Some cards on Performance, then Recommendations carry a button that makes the change for you. The button always repeats the card’s own suggested step. It never offers an action the card did not recommend.
The five buttons
| Button | On which card | What it changes |
|---|---|---|
| Turn it off | Money spent with no conversions | Pauses that ad on Meta |
| Turn it off | An ad that got almost none of its ad set’s spend | Pauses that ad on Meta. Only offered when the ad spent nothing, or spent with no conversions |
| Block this search | A search term wasting money | Adds that term as a negative keyword, exact match, on the Google campaign |
| Block these searches | A phrase catching wasted searches | Adds that phrase as a negative keyword, phrase match, on the Google campaign |
| Add as keyword | A search term worth promoting | Adds that term as an exact-match keyword in the Google campaign |
Each opens a confirmation showing precisely what is about to change before anything happens.
What the buttons do not do
Every button either pauses one ad or edits one campaign’s keyword list. None of them:
- change a budget or a bid
- switch anything back on
- delete anything
- touch more than the one thing named on the card
Pausing is reversible. Keyword changes are reversible from the Google Ads interface or from Adsap.
Why some cards have no button
Ads that are wearing out and ads with a weak opening or low click rate never get one. Both ask for a new image, video or message. No setting exists to flip, so a button would be pretending.
Ads starved of delivery only get the turn-it-off half. Meta has no ad-level budget, so “push more delivery to it” has nothing direct to press. Restructuring the ad into its own ad set would do it, but that resets learning and would cost more than it saves, so Adsap does not offer it.
Alerts never get a button. An alert means something broke, and the cause tends to sit outside the thing the alert names. Turning that thing off would hide the symptom.
After you apply
The card records what you applied and moves to No longer an issue once the change takes effect.
For Google keyword changes, Adsap refuses the same change twice within 30 seconds. Clicking twice in quick succession reports a duplicate instead of applying twice.
Through the AI Copilot
The assistant can apply the same changes by chat, through the same paths. Ask it to fix what it found and it confirms the specific change with you before writing anything.
