Connect Your Meta Account
Connect your Meta account through Facebook Login for Business so Adsap can run your ad campaigns, Pages and Instagram accounts.
You need a connected Meta account before you can launch or manage Facebook and Instagram ads from Adsap. This page covers the connection steps and the permissions to grant.
Warning: During Meta authorization, grant Adsap access to both your ad accounts and your Facebook Pages. If either is missing, campaigns may fail to sync or publish.
Step-by-Step Setup
1. Go to Settings
- Log in to the Adsap web dashboard at app.adsap.ai
- Open Settings. The Integrations section is on that page
- Find the Connect Meta section
- If you have not connected yet, click Sign in with Facebook
2. Reconnect or Edit Settings
- If you connected before, your profile shows with a Reconnect button
- To update permissions or reconnect, click Reconnect
- A Facebook Login for Business window opens
- Click Edit previous settings to review and change what Adsap can access
- Click Reconnect
3. Grant Facebook Page Access
- Facebook asks which Pages Adsap can access
- Select Opt in to all current and future Pages so Adsap can work with Pages you manage now or create later
- Click Continue
Note: You cannot skip this step. Adsap needs Page permissions to create and manage ads for you.
4. Grant Instagram Account Access
- Facebook asks which Instagram accounts Adsap can access
- Select Opt in to all current and future Instagram accounts
- Click Continue
5. Review Permissions and Save
- Facebook shows a summary of the permissions Adsap requests
- Check that the list covers your ad accounts, Facebook Pages and Instagram accounts
- Click Save to finish the connection
6. Connect and Sync Your Ad Account
- After Facebook authorization, you land back on the Adsap Settings page
- Your ad accounts now show in the list
- Find the ad account you want and click Start setup to link it
- Adsap syncs that account’s data, so you can manage its campaigns from the web dashboard and the AI Copilot
Troubleshooting
Campaigns failing to sync? Check that you granted both ad account and Facebook Page permissions during Meta authorization. To fix it, click Reconnect on the Settings page and go through “Edit previous settings” to update your permissions.
Do not see your ad account? Click Reconnect to refresh the list of ad accounts. Check that the Facebook profile you connected has admin or advertiser access to the ad account in Meta Business Suite.
Need to switch Meta profiles? Click Disconnect on the Settings page, then reconnect with the right Facebook profile using “Sign in with Facebook.”
No Facebook Pages found for your ad account? Adsap did not get Page permissions during setup. Click Reconnect and select “Opt in to all current and future Pages” during Facebook authorization. The ad account also needs a linked Page in Meta Business Manager.
Wrong Facebook Page showing? Check which Page your ad account links to in Meta Business Manager, under Business Settings then Pages. Adsap shows the Pages linked to the ad account you selected.
Instagram account required? No. If the brand has no Instagram account, leave the Instagram cell empty. Your Facebook Page then represents the brand on Instagram placements, the same as “Use Facebook Page” in Ads Manager. Only pick an Instagram account from the same business, one the ad account has access to. Picking another business’s account fails with “Ad account has no access to this Instagram account”.
Meta created a new ad account instead of connecting your existing one? During Facebook authorization, select your existing ad accounts and do not let Meta create a new one. If it already happened, disconnect, reconnect, and pick the right accounts.
Ad accounts showing different currencies? Meta sets each ad account’s currency at creation and does not let you change it later. Adsap shows the currency from Meta.
